Pressure washers are a great way of shifting mud and dirt from your patios. Whether yours is made of concrete or you’ve decked it out in oak, a pressure washer can save you a lot of time and energy when maintaining it.
The prices range from your basic £35 one to the professional cleaners up to £700. This massive discrepancy in prices can often cause confusion when purchasing.
If you only need a pressure washer to cover the basics, such as the patio or outdoor furniture, then there’s no use investing in a top-range machine. Any entry-level pressure washer which has approximately 110 bars (the measurement of pressure) is strong enough to handle the dirt.
The Kärcher K2 pressure washer tops our list of pressure washers for your patio on the market. At an easily affordable price, this machine reaches an admirable 110 bars which is the right amount of power for your patio, fences and car. Featuring a targeted pressure regulation trigger gun, you can be precise with your cleaning and really focus on those hard-to-reach spots.
If you’re looking for a pressure washer that will blow the mud right off the decking, then the TACKLIFE pressure washer will be your best friend. Boasting a 160 bar impulse, this pressure washer will shoot 450 litres per hour. It’s considered a lot more powerful than the Kärcher K2 but this comes at a price and considerable weight increase, of which casual users might consider a waste.
The TACKLIFE pressure washer also features an adjustable spray wand, rotating turbo nozzle, safety lock and a compact design on wheels that you can easily put away.
As you can probably tell by the name, the Nilfisk C 120 makes use of a strong 120 bar to clean away dirt and mud from your patio. With its primarily plastic design, it’s less robust and durable than the previous power washers, but proves to be a plus-side with it being 100% recyclable material (if you love the planet and all things green). It’s also one of the most affordable power washes for its power and price.
The Nilfisk is a quick and easy solution with a click and swivel connecting system between the ergonomic spray handle and the high pressure hose. The additional patio cleaner is an added bonus worthy of your outdoor surfaces.
4. Black+Decker BXPW1400E Pressure Washer
With its compact and light design, Black+Decker offer an easy power washing solution. More for the occasional washer, this 110 bar washer comes with 6 accessories and a click fast water inlet connection device in-built with an inspectable filter.
It’s a small device that packs a punch, but for the price you might be better of with the Nilfisk.
5. Colee XG-01G Pressure Washer
The Colee XG-01G pressure washer is a 120 bar machine that’s one of the smallest on our list. Despite it being listed as ‘powerful, small and lightweight’ it’s know to suffer from a few pressure issues and faults on its build quality and durability.
The handy automatic total stop system, optional self suction & soap dispenser allow for qualities that are favourable, however we’d be worried that the system would pack in half way through your driveway.
