Born in 1987, the Italian manufacturer Napapijri develops quality outdoor apparel from innovative material. It’s a brand that is inspired by explorers, explorers of which took on Mont Blanc and numerous other expeditions.
Filled with a range of rainforest jackets, polos, t-shirts and knitwear, you can expect to find something that will tickle your fancy this Autumn. Lately the brand has released their ‘Icons’ range – a collection of rainforest jackets which have been created based on iconic figures in the music industry; Oscar #Worldpeace & Poppy Ajudha.
These iconic figures have helped to inspire a range of jackets in an array of colours. The artists themselves, both London-based, have released soulful and meaningful EPs of which you can listen to over on the Napapijri website.
Taking a look into the jackets themselves, there’s a total of 37 colour options in six styles. From black to pink, you’ll find the right colour for you to match your mood. The standard Rainforest Winter is lined with warm fleecing and quilted padding for comfort, whilst also accommodating for an adjustable hood and hem.
For us, we loved the green rainforest with pockets. A perfect colour for Autumn/Winter, it was a comfy fit and kept myself both warm and dry during my time in London. The Icons range has a very ‘urban’ style and theme to it – a popular choice for the leading city youth.
